Job Summary: The Welding team is responsible for performing a variety of tasks including, but not limited to, operating an ultrasonic welder to join parts together, a clicker press to cut shapes out of various materials using a metal die, and a CNC machine to cut and drill molded materials needed for the production of certain Bullard products.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Schedule: Monday-Thursday 6:00am-4:30pm and overtime as needed

Pay: Starting rate $20.95 with progression to $22.25 within the first year of employment 

Duties/Responsibilities:
• Promote and maintain a safe, organized work environment
• Adhere to attendance expectations outlined in the Bullard Attendance Policy
• Maintain a clean work area and clean machinery, applying 5S methods
• Communicate with and provide feedback to co-workers, team leaders, group leaders, engineers, management and others as necessary
• Operate sonic welder
• Operate clicker and hot stamp presses
• Operate CNC machine
• Operate low pressure injection molding machine
• Read work instructions
• Identify parts and materials
• Inspect parts and products for quality standards
• Operate hand tools (handheld, pull down and stationary)
• Obtain and move parts, bins and totes to work areas
• Assemble small electronic equipment and follow proper ESD procedures
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electronic systems
• Use personal computer and necessary applications (Kinetic, Outlook, etc…)
• Pack finished product for shipment
• Verify that product and quantity are correct per order specifications

Required Skills/Abilities:
• Must be well organized and have attention to detail
• Must be able to work with small parts
• Must have good hand eye coordination
• Must be able to work independently
• Must be able to work and communicate effectively in a team setting

Education and Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent

Physical Requirements:
• The physical nature of the job includes but is not limited to: wearing hearing protection, sitting for long periods of time, bending, working with small parts, ability to reach, bend, twist, turn, pull, and lifting materials and boxes of up to 25 pounds.
